Production process: round steel bar material after inspection, according to the size of steel ball cutting;  Steel forging is heated to a certain temperature by intermediate frequency furnace to ensure an effective type variable in forging.  The red hot steel forging is sent into the air hammer and processed by a skilled operator.  After forging, the red hot steel balls are immediately put into the specially designed heat treatment equipment of Iraite Stock for quenching and tempering heat treatment, so that the steel balls produced can obtain high and uniform hardness value.

Development trend: With the continuous research and development of raw materials in recent years and the continuous upgrading of production equipment, the application field is more and more extensive, especially in semi-autogenous mills such as metallurgical mines and ball mills with a diameter greater than 2.5m, the forged steel ball has low abrasion and low crushing, which is more obvious than the cast steel ball.  In terms of the current wet-resistant steel ball market, forged steel balls are commonly used for grinding in foreign wet grinding applications such as metal mines. In the domestic market, more cast steel balls are used at present, but the market of forged steel balls is increasing year by year.
