How much grinding ball should be filled in the overflow ball mill for the best effect?
The filling rate of grinding balls should neither be too high nor too low. When it is too low, the amount of balls in the cylinder is small, resulting in low output of crushed materials and low grinding efficiency. When it is too high, for an overflow ball mill, the grinding balls may be discharged from the hollow shaft: at the same time, the grinding effect of the inner layer balls is relatively weak. Moreover, there is an excessive accumulation of grinding balls at the lower part of the cylinder, and the impact of the projected balls is weakened. The fluidity of the materials is poor, and the filling rate is too high. The resistance of the grinding media to the material flow is large, and under the same rotational speed, the crushed materials are not easy to be discharged, resulting in a long grinding time and over-grinding.
