By high temperature quenching, it can achive high hardness martensitic structure, so the hardness can be from 40+HRC to 60+ HRC, the wear resistance efficiency is much higher. Different chrome content, we should adopt differnt quenching methods. There three poupulas quenching ways, oil quenching, liquid quenching and wind quenching. After quenching, high chrome grinding balls are brittle and easy to break, so accurate and timely tempering can eliminate the internal stress of high chrome grinding ball, improve toughness, and maintain high hardness. Atfer quenching and tempering, the good wear resistance will be the best stage.
