The Production Process About Cast Grinding Balls?

Purchasing raw material→melting→molding→pouring→grinding balls →polishing→Heat treatment furnace→Package. This is the whole process about cast grinding ball production process.

How To Produce Cast Grinding Balls?

● The grinding ball manufacturers must have induction furnace

● About molding. There are grinding ball metal mold by hand and automatic molding line by machine. If the capacity is over 5000 ton/ year, molding line is suggested. If the capacity is lower 5000 ton/ year. Grinding ball metal mold by hand is suggested. 

 

● Pouring. If automatic molding line, the pouring machine will directly pour. If grinding ball metal mold by hand, the workers will pour by pouring ladle.

● Polishing. There are burrs in the grinding balls. Then grinding ball separator will be used to handle the burrs.

● Heat Treatment Furnace. For high chrome balls, it will quenching and tempering. For low chrome balls, it will be just tempering. No matter quenching or tempering, heat treatment furnace is necessary.

 

● After this, grinding ball will be packed by iron drum or by ton bag according to the requirement of clients.
